There’s never a dull moment at The Mulberry! There have been many exciting outings around BC, including the Fraser River Safari Cruise, The Vancouver Christmas Market, the symphony at the VSO, the Museum of Anthropology, the Inch Creek Hatchery, and much, much more!
We hosted a fabulous “Night in Monte Carlo” fundraiser in which we raised record-breaking funds to assemble Christmas hampers for seniors in need in our neighbourhood. We also held our annual Christmas Brunch for Mulberry residents and their families; hosted a classical art workshop; celebrated numerous milestone birthdays for several of our residents; and much, much more!
As for news around the HighGate community, the Eastburn Community Centre will be opening in Spring 2013! It will be great to have a swimming pool so close by for our residents to use.
As we roll into Spring, The Mulberry will begin some renovations to our common areas – new carpet, furniture, paint, and much, much more. Come by for a visit to see what we’re up to!
